It is mandatory for the Vessel to provide Immersion suit to every person onboard according to ship’s. Before Resolution MSC 152(78) was adopted in May 2004, normally only three suits were needed, for the ‘man overboard’ boat crew. Additionally, if a ship has any watch or work stations away from the locations where immersion suits are normally stowed, extra suits need to be provided in these areas.

Techno Marine is approved by most of the makers of immersion suits and survival suits under Lloyds approvals to carry out service.

Under IMO-MSC 1114, Immersion Suits are required to be serviced annually.

Either carried out “in-house”, in its class approved service facility, or on board vessels, by its trained and certified service engineers; Techno marine is capable of undertaking this highly crucial need of the Marine Industry. Upon completion, all Immersion Suits will be issued with test certificates under Lloyds accreditation.
